MBP have successfully delivered the final phase of the Birmingham City University (BCU) campus.  Involved in the university’s ambitious regeneration plan from the outset, the project demanded expert guidance on both fire rated doors coupled with high acoustic doorsets.  The university has a number of recording studios and live radio showrooms, so excellent acoustic performance was required for many of the doorsets.

MBP have been working alongside Willmott Dixon and prestigious local architects, Associated Architects, to supply joinery solutions throughout the whole project lifespan.  Early involvement and continued collaboration throughout each phase helped to ensure an aesthetically pleasing and fully compliant functional building.

We are now underway with the supply of phase 2 which will involve delivering in excess of 800 doorsets.
